Cologne, 18.05.2021. m.Doc convinces another university hospital of its digital patient portal. After the university hospitals Essen, Balgrist or USZ, the m.Doc Smart Clinic is now also used at the University Hospital Eppendorf. The tender was won together with the long-time HIS partner CGM.
Patients of the University Hospital Eppendorf, UKE, will now be accompanied by the m.Doc Smart Clinic before, during and after their stay in Hamburg. Together with its long-time HIS partner CGM, the digital healthcare pioneer was able to convince the responsible persons in Hamburg of its patient portal. At UKE, the hospital information system CGM CLINICAL was chosen as the central, enterprise-wide system for electronic patient records (ePA). And as part of the collaboration between m.Doc and CGM, m.Doc is contributing its Smart Clinic for the UKE.
“Not least with the targeted support provided by the Hospital Future Act, digital patient portals are increasingly coming into the focus of hospital managers. The added value that a patient portal like our Smart Clinic can deliver in admission, treatment and discharge management is increasingly being recognized. We are therefore very pleased to have convinced the University Hospital Eppendorf, now the sixth large university hospital, of our solutions,” says m.Doc CEO Admir Kulin, pleased with the new name on his customer list.

For example, the joint project LOUISA with Essen University Hospital, which is based on the m.Doc Smart Clinic, was recently awarded the healthcare networker prize, which is highly regarded in the industry.
