Cologne, Germany, July 6, 2021 – Award-winning innovative strength: Cologne-based digital healthcare pioneer m.Doc is delighted to receive its first TOP 100 seal of approval. This is the 28th time that particularly innovative medium-sized companies have been honored. Previously, m.Doc had proven its innovative strength in a scientific selection process.
On behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the TOP 100 innovation competition, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team examined m.Doc’s innovative strength. The researchers used around 120 test criteria from five categories as a basis: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success. The core question is whether innovations are the result of a planned approach or a product of chance, i.e., the repeatability of innovation performance. And it is also about whether and how the corresponding solutions succeed on the market (further information on the test criteria can be found at www.top100.de/pruefkriterien). Due to the current situation, this round also included a special section examining the entrepreneurial response to the Corona crisis.
m.Doc has been actively shaping the future of a digital German healthcare system since it was founded five years ago. On the basis of its Smart Health Platform and extensive partner network, the Cologne-based company offers clinics, rehabilitation and care facilities, as well as physicians in private practice, a whole range of digital solutions that make everyday work easier and more efficient, so that the essential factor, the patients, can once again become the focus of treatment. Particularly during the Corona pandemic, m.Doc also supported its customers with innovative and custom-fit solutions and is one of the central solution providers for funding category 2, patient portals, under the Hospital Futures Act, or KHZG for short. “Since our founding, it has been our mission to establish innovations in an industry that has great potential to catch up, especially with regard to digitalization. And it is not without pride that we can claim today that we have already been able to record a number of successes on this mission in the healthcare sector of the DACH region. We are all the more pleased that this assessment has now also been confirmed by external experts with the TOP 100 seal,” comments company founder and CEO Admir Kulin on the latest award for m.Doc.
Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, the scientific director of TOP 100, is impressed by the award-winning medium-sized companies. “The TOP 100 companies have consistently focused on being as innovative as possible,” he notes.
On November 26, there will be another reason to celebrate: Then all award winners of the current TOP 100 year will come together to receive congratulations from Ranga Yogeshwar at the 7th German SME Summit in Ludwigsburg. The science journalist has been mentoring the innovation competition for ten years.
