A big step towards value-based healthcare – m.Doc and ICHOM offer integrated sets of Patient-Centered Outcome Measures
Cologne, Germany, January 17, 2023. m.Doc GmbH – the digital healthcare pioneer – has taken an important step towards putting the patient perspective at the center of healthcare delivery. The Cologne-based company will become an ICHOM Technical Platform Partner in the DACH region with immediate effect, enabling healthcare providers to access ICHOM’s sets of “Patient-Centered Outcome Measures” via its m.Doc Smart Health Platform. ICHOM, a non-profit organization, has collaborated with leading experts from around the world to develop more than 44 sets to bring together the measures most important to patients, including PROMS (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures), clinical and administrative measures.
As part of this collaboration, the ICHOM sets will be available for the first time in an official German translation and can now be licensed through the m.Doc Smart Health Platform. Clinics that measure patient outcomes with the ICHOM sets can use them digitally via an m.Doc plug-in in their own software or directly through the m.Doc platform’s patient portal.
“The ICHOM sets give clinics and hospitals the ability to track patient health status according to the aspects that are most important to them, allowing them to measure the quality of outcomes at specific points in time. These data will be fundamental to health care design. However, until now, data collection has been complex and time-consuming. With the integration of ICHOM’s sets into our Smart Health Platform, healthcare providers now have an out-of-the-box solution,” said Admir Kulin, CEO of m.Doc GmbH, excited about the new possibilities.
