Cologne, Germany, September 16, 2020 – The m.Doc team has won four Stevie Awards this year. The coveted international trophy was awarded to the digital healthcare specialist in silver in the “Most Valuable Technical Innovation” and “Most Valuable Product” categories, and in bronze in the “Most Valuable Medical Innovation” and “Most Valuable Service” categories.
Now the Cologne-based company has it in black and white: m.Doc scored in four categories at the internationally renowned Stevie Awards. The digital healthcare pioneer received the silver Stevie Award for the “Most Valuable Technical Innovation” and the “Most Valuable Product. Bronze was awarded for the “Most Valuable Medical Innovation” and the “Most Valuable Service”.
“The Stevie Award is an internationally renowned award. All categories are evaluated by a top-class jury. We are correspondingly proud of the fact that we received awards in no less than four categories despite the huge competition from over 63 countries. This means that we were able to prevail among the more than 3,800 nominees this year,” says Dr. Axel Müller, Chief Product Officer of m.Doc GmbH, delightedly about the Stevies.
The company is also proud because this year’s Stevie Awards focused on products and innovations that address the challenges posed by the Covid 19 pandemic. In this context, the jury particularly highlighted m.Doc’s freely available patient app Smart vs. Virus, which is based on the m.Doc Smart Health platform, which has made patient management easier, especially for clinics during the acute corona phase. “We have been certified that we should definitely continue this good work,” Müller emphasizes.
Due to the still tense situation, the traditional gala dinner at which the international business awards are normally presented was cancelled this year. Nevertheless, the winners are to be duly celebrated at a virtual ceremony on December 1, 2020.
