Medical imaging data can be conveniently submitted via the patient portal as part of a general request. Medical professionals can view relevant imaging data even before an appointment or case discussion and can:

Seamless integration into your IT infrastructure
The uploaded DICOM images and studies are not stored in m.Doc but are made available directly within your existing IT infrastructure, for example:
- PACS
- HCM
- DCM systems
Healthcare professionals access the studies through their systems as usual. The data is available for the duration of the treatment or a doctor-to-doctor case discussion. After a defined retention period, the uploads are automatically deleted.
Flexible configuration depending on the application
Sharing medical image data can be enabled flexibly on a per-module basis, for example for:
- General requests from patients
- General requests from external professionals
The storage location or destination system is defined via a configured URL. This allows the feature to be tailored precisely to your processes and organizational units.
Secure Upload via JiveX Connect
The upload is handled by our partner VISUS using the JiveX Connect Upload service:
- Accessible directly in a web browser (e.g., Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera, Safari)
- HTTPS-encrypted data transfer to VISUS’s secure data center
- Forwarding to your IT system via DICOM Send
