m.Doc has had its headquarters near Friesenplatz (Friesenstraße 5-15) in Cologne since May 2025 – right in the heart of the city! The location is super central, perfectly accessible and offers excellent public transport connections. We are delighted to be in this lively neighborhood!

Travelling by car

  • From the north (e.g. via the A57): Take the A57 towards the city center. At the end of the highway, turn onto Innere Kanalstraße. Follow this road to the junction with Venloer Straße, turn right and continue to Friesenplatz. Friesenstraße can be reached directly at Friesenplatz.
  • From the south (e.g. via the A3): Take the A3 towards Köln-Zentrum, change to the B55a (Innere Kanalstraße). Turn right into Venloer Straße, from there you will reach Friesenplatz and Friesenstraße.
  • From the west (e.g. via the A1): Follow the A1 to the Köln-Lövenich exit, then follow the B55 (Aachener Straße) towards the city center. Turn left onto Innere Kanalstraße and then right onto Venloer Straße to reach Friesenplatz.
  • From the east (e.g. via the A3): At the Köln-Ost freeway junction, change to the B55a in the direction of Zentrum. After the banks of the Rhine, continue on Innere Kanalstraße until you reach Venloer Straße, which leads to Friesenplatz.

Parking

Contipark parking garage Am Friesenplatz (Alte Wallgasse 31, 50672 Cologne)

  • Distance: Approx. 2-3 minutes’ walk (200 m) from the location.
  • Details: This parking garage is ideal for visitors to Friesenplatz. It offers round-the-clock parking, but is somewhat angled, which should be taken into account for larger cars.
  • The headroom is 2 m.
  • Prices: Approx. 3.50 € per hour, maximum daily rate approx. 25 €. Evening rate (20:00-08:00) approx. 1.20 € per hour.
  • Advantage: Very centrally located and directly on Friesenplatz, with good connections to the Belgian Quarter and the Old Town. Bookings can be made online via Contipark.

Ampido parking lot Bismarckstraße (near Friesenplatz)

  • Distance: Approx. 3-5 minutes on foot (approx. 300 m).
  • Details: Private parking spaces in a courtyard that can be booked via the ampido app. Free choice of parking space at the front or rear of the courtyard.
  • The gate is opened online via a link in the booking confirmation.
  • Prices: Cheaper than parking garages, exact costs vary depending on the booking (often from around €2 per hour).
  • Advantage: Uncomplicated and often cheaper, ideal for short-term parkers or partygoers. Reservation in advance possible.

m.Doc’s head office at Friesenstraße 5-15, near Friesenplatz, has excellent public transport connections in Cologne. The central location in the city center makes the site quick and easy to reach. Here are the details on how to get here by public transport:

Traveling with the KVB (Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe)
The nearest stop is Friesenplatz, which is right next to the location (approx. 1-2 minutes’ walk, approx. 100-200 m). It is served by several light rail lines, which makes for a flexible journey:

Light rail lines: 3, 4, 5, 12, 15

  • Line 3: direction Mengenich/Bocklemünd or Thielenbruch
  • Line 4: direction Bocklemünd or Schlebusch
  • Line 5: direction Heumarkt or Sparkasse Am Butzweilerhof
  • Line 12: direction Merkenich or Zollstock
  • Line 15: direction Chorweiler or Ubierring


Journey time from Cologne Central Station: Only approx. 3-4 minutes (1 stop on lines 5, 12 or 15).
Frequency: Every 5-10 minutes during the day, every 10-15 minutes in the evening.
