Efficient care through digital innovation
m.Doc is revolutionising healthcare

m.Doc, a digital healthcare pioneer founded in Cologne in 2016, develops and distributes digital solutions for clinics, rehabilitation and care facilities based on its smart health platform. The company is at the centre of a strong and constantly growing partner network that paves the way for digital innovations in the healthcare system. m.Doc’s tailored industry solutions enable efficient care, giving doctors, nurses and medical professionals more time for what matters: the patient. The central product solution is the m.Doc patient portal. It supports hospital staff and patients before, during and after their stay via a personalised user interface. The patient portal is available to patients on the web and as an app. The m.Doc patient portal ensures secure communication between all parties involved during the patient journey and digitally integrates patients into the processes of their hospital stay.

Stellar Polaris, Polar or even the North Star – there are many names for the brightest star in the constellation of the Little Bear, which is also often called the Little Dipper. And it is precisely this brightness that makes the North Star so special. It was used as a point of orientation, especially in seafaring, and has thus served as a safe guide for many a ship.
That is precisely why we use the North Star as a synonym for the overarching goal that we want to achieve: Digital First – the patient-centred and cross-organisational digitalisation of the healthcare system. Nobody should suffer or die just because medical information is missing, somewhere, at some point. We want to shape and help to define this goal as a team.
However, much like the seafarers of old, we often find ourselves ‘out at sea’ without a point of reference. This is because no one has ever travelled the path we are taking before. To ensure we don’t lose sight of our goal and get lost in the vastness and shallows of the healthcare system, we need a fixed point – our North Star, which always shines brightly for us.
